Who is Behind Limpopo Events Coordinators
Clara Mdlalose is an award-winning Event Planner and Certified PCO (Professional Conference Organiser) as well as a member of SAACI (the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry). She is fluent in English, Afrikaans, Zulu and Northern Sotho. She is the former Director of PR and Events at Protea Hotels in Polokwane, Limpopo. She is a former Fundraiser for the Midwives Association of Southern Africa and The First Lady’s Trust Limpopo, where she produced many of their high-profile charitable events during her tenure at these organizations. Clara has gained extensive experience in the events industry for the past 16 years.
Clara has worked on an impressive portfolio of events ranging from government events, gala dinners, comedy nights, conferences, fashion shows and music festivals. Since setting up the company nearly 15 years ago, Limpopo Events Coordinators have produced numerous conferences ranging from focus groups for 100 people through to conferences for over 2,000 people, as well as outdoor public and sporting events.
At Limpopo Events Coordinators, Clara has developed a niche producing events and or conferences for and on behalf of the South African public sector and has produced numerous events around issues including awards ceremonies, launches, women, children and dis-abled groups, nutrition, wellbeing, HIV & AIDS programmes, mother and child care, men’s health, alcohol and smoking and other public health issues.
She is particularly passionate about producing stimulating, informative and high quality conferences and seminars utilising conference technologies and social media when appropriate.
Clara is increasingly being asked to consult and advise on the event industry. She has also been sought after in terms of the planning of event space and conference and meeting facilities.
